Welcome to RentCred. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the RentCred platform and services. By accessing or using RentCred, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. Eligibility

To use RentCred, you must be at least 18 years old and a resident of India. You must provide accurate and complete information during registration. RentCred reserves the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time.

3. User Responsibilities

As a RentCred user, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Not use the platform for any unlawful purpose
• Not attempt to manipulate or falsify your RentCred Score

4. Services Provided

RentCred provides the following services:

• RentCred Score: A credibility score based on your rent payment history
• Rewards: Points and benefits for on-time rent payments
• Verification: Rent payment verification services
• Verified Landlords: Access to trusted property owners

5. Early Access Fee

The Early Access program requires a one-time payment of ₹100 (Indian Rupees). This fee grants you priority access to the RentCred platform upon launch, along with exclusive early member benefits. The fee is subject to our 7-day refund policy as outlined in our Cancellations & Refunds policy.

6. Account Termination

RentCred reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these terms, fraudulent activity, or any other reason deemed appropriate. You may also request account deletion by contacting our support team.

7. Disclaimers

RentCred is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that your RentCred Score will result in specific outcomes with landlords or lenders. The platform is designed to help build credibility but does not guarantee housing or loan approvals.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, RentCred shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the service.

9. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Karnataka, India.
